Worrisome indeed. I suspect that the whole NWO agenda has not gone away - anywhere - and what we are now seeing in many countries is merely a pause whereby the globalists are gathering strength for the next phase.
In Australia, though most of the country seems to be relaxing and "opening up" we still have jab mandates, varying slightly state to state, but here in Queensland still apply to any health worker, emergency services workers (police, correctional workers, fire service, military), teachers, most tertiary education institutions (students and staff). Also we the unjabbed are not supposed to enter a sit-down restaurant or cafe, or pub or licensed club, and entertainment events (including sporting & cultural) - though many places are reportedly less rigorous about checking it these days.
And Victoria has introduced permanent pandemic legislation - and Queensland is moving in that direction as well, or at least trying to extend the "emergency" to October.
The news no longer reports cases & deaths, but the framework to lock us all down again with restrictions is being ramped up - while the visible signs are fading away (for now). So the majority of people are perceiving all this as "going back to normal (sort of)".
We don't hear so much about it, but the UK is trying to introduce some draconian legislation modifying the Human Rights legislation, and I understand that the US is doing something similar. I suspect that many countries are also doing this - not quite as overt as South Africa, but quietly & systematically setting the trap for another round.

South Africans now have the opportunity to comment on the proposal of putting the pandemic response including forced measures (whatever they may determine at the time) into permanent law so that the powers that be can do whatever they want with the people on an ongoing, permanent basis. This isn't just about COVID but totalitarian control. I really hope South African wake up and make their objections known. Too many have been lulled into a sleep in this and may be turning a blind eye in fatigue. The proposed new law is ridiculous and all must now stand up and make their objections clear. Please...

In the UK the government are rolling out a digital harms bill in order to censor the internet.
This will make it an offence to post anything on line that could cause harm.
Harm is not being defined in the parilamentary Bill and will be determined by Ministers in the future without parliamentary scrutiny.
In the near future I have the feeling that an article such as this would be determined to be one that cause harm.
