When You Crucify Truth, You Summon Demons

A meditation on Novak Djokovic and me, imprisoned.

On the face of it, I should be a Roger Federer fan.

Like Roger Federer, I am of Swiss and South African heritage.

Federer has the better sporting aesthetic.

Federer is more polite.

But then you get this:

Are there people more cloying in the world than Trevor Noah and Bill Gates - both of whom have zero authority or credibility, yet somehow are constantly elevated to lecture us lesser mortals? Trust your gut here…

(By the way, how on earth did Bill Gates get an invitation to play tennis in front of a paid audience with Roger Federer? Why was that a thing? Why would he want to?)

To return to Djokovic…

Djokovic is polarizing. He annoys people. He is weird.

Yet I like him.

It is pretty difficult to deny he is the greatest player of all time. He has a better win record against both Nadal and Federer, the other two modern greats. He has won the same number of grand slams as them, whilst contending against both of them at their prime. He has won each grand slam at least twice.

But he is nowhere near as well-liked, except perhaps by other divisive people like me.

It has almost been fate that it would be Djokovic who became the lightning rod for the upcoming vaccine wars.

He would always be an easier scapegoat to offer up than Federer.

But that’s the point - it is always those whom we find easy to scapegoat as unclean, unrighteous idiots, who were willing in the first place to do something different, to not need or want to be as popular as Federer and Nadal. This is why we find them easy to scapegoat.

It is thus no coincidence Djokovic does not play tennis with vaccine kingpin Bill Gates, even before covid struck. He does not belong on that court.

(Did Bill Gates ever ask Africans, by the way, if they needed food, water, mosquito nets, more than all his vaccines?)

This is generally why we need disagreeable people in the world - without them we would nicely and politely follow friendly philanthropists like Bill Gates into hell.

What do I have to do with Djokovic?

Not much.

But, like Djokovic, I am also running foul of international borders.

I live in Kenya, and have now discovered that unless I inject myself with a currently unknown number of doses of novel genetic therapeutic, I cannot leave the country.

By current regulation, as my body currently stands, I cannot travel to my home. I cannot cross the borders.

I am trapped overseas unless I inject my body with a substance we all know I do not need.

(At this stage, it is looking quite likely I will, after all, sadly have to be vaccinated, under duress, in order to see my extended family again.)

Yes - this is correct, Kenya does not allow foreign citizens to leave their borders without being fully vaccinated.

And here is the great spiritual curse at the heart of this issue.

The regulation is based on a lie.

Every single sane person KNOWS healthy people do not need this vaccine. We all KNOW it does not stop spread. Yes, some good people will quibble about us all being in it together, and so on and so forth. But the simple TRUTH is that it really does not stop spread. And the vast majority of people do not need to keep filling themselves up with mRNA.

Do you think any Australian government official truly believes Djokovic is some kind of health risk to Australians?

By their own beloved science, as a covid recovered person, he is far safer to have in their country than a vaccinated person, for whom multiple studies now show covid transmission is more likely than for an unvaccinated person - let alone a recovered person.

The CEO of Pfizer himself admits two doses of his liquid no longer does anything - and that even a third does not stop transmission.

(How odd that Pfizer’s government clientele have more reverence for the product than Pfizer itself?)

Yet all around you, as people follow and discuss Djokovic’s fascinating story, you will hear nice, normal people lambast him for breaking some rules, for expecting special treatment, for not just going along with some precious system.

How sad. How grotesque.

Such people would rather quibble about lame regulations than face the Lie which now rules their lives - the lies rather - that lockdowns work, that masks work, that school closure works, that vaccines stop spread, that anything stops spread, or that smothering life in plastic and soggy cloth was ever worth doing for the sake of ANY virus.

In the New Testament - which Djokovic, notwithstanding some of his new age weirdness, purports to revere, unlike Nadal or Federer, good western secularists, the devil is described as the father of lies, and Christ as the Truth, the Logos, the Supreme Rationality.

Be very, very careful, all my normal friends and readers out there. Especially the nice Christian ones who want to wear a mask and inject themselves to show they love their neighbour…

When we glibly allow lies to govern everyday life, we are summoning demons. When truth dies as a virtue, philanthropy will be of no use to us.

Because if a government can inject, mask, spray us when WE KNOW, when THEY KNOW, it is a system built entirely on falsehood, what comes next?

Letting truth slide a little, crumble a little, in order to be nice, is never a virtue. It’s a sin.
