The Three Words that Explain Everything
Gain of Function.
If you have been reading this newsletter over the past few months, it is quite likely you would have discovered here the phrase `gain of function`. Remember these words. They are going to become very important over the next few months, as even corporate media will no longer be able to ignore the truth concerning Covid 19.
A month ago, I set out the case for Covid having originated from a lab.
The US had been funding insanely risky research in which a virus is made even more infectious, ostensibly to study it and then respond to it. This process is called gain of function.
This is not disputed.
The man at the heart of the US response to Covid is Anthony Fauci, an 80 year old doctor who has been the head of the US National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases since 1984.
He is also the highest paid bureaucrat in the US. This should ring alarm bells for you already. There is just no way an 80 year old, sitting in the same role for nearly 40 years, should have so much power and authority.
Fauci is the leading advocate in the world for gain of function research. He wrote this in the Washington Post in 2011, along with Francis Collins, who is now the director of the US National Institutes of Health:
“… much good can come from generating a potentially dangerous virus in the laboratory… The underlying question, of course, is whether the benefits of such research outweigh the risks. The answer is not simple.”
They were referring to gain of function research involving bird flu, and they concluded their argument for the development of viruses in labs by stating:
“Along with support for this research comes a responsibility to ensure that the information is used for good. Safeguarding against the potential accidental release or deliberate misuse of laboratory pathogens is imperative. The engineered viruses developed in the ferret experiments are maintained in high-security laboratories. The scientists, journal editors and funding agencies involved are working together to ensure that access to specific information that could be used to create dangerous pathogens will be limited to those with an established and legitimate need to know.”
How seriously did these experts take the imperative to keeping such harm tucked safely away in a lab?
Well, they funded a lab in Wuhan to do gain of function research there on coronaviruses, after such research had been banned in the US. The funding was only stopped when Trump found out about in 2020.
They claim now that the research there was not gain of function research. But they are really just playing with words and jargon. American scientists developed this strange research in the US and then supported this research being conducted in China - the collection of viruses from bats and subsequently tinkering with them, adding spike proteins to coronaviruses.
Wuhan lab workers would get sick in November 2019. And researchers can still not find an animal host for the novel coronavirus Covid 19.
I am writing about this again because my earlier story just received confirmation that Fauci and US scientific authorities knew their own work in China was a likely source of the virus.
Fauci`s emails have been released via a freedom of information action in the US and in those emails we read of the chief architect of the global response to Covid scrambling to cover up this possible link.
In this midnight email above, Fauci forwards a gain of function research paper to his deputy, tells him to keep his phone on, to read the paper, and to be aware that certain tasks must be done today.
What was in the paper?
Here is its abstract:
Using the SARS-CoV reverse genetics system, we generated and characterized a chimeric virus expressing the spike of bat coronavirus SHC014 in a mouse-adapted SARS-CoV backbone. The results indicate that group 2b viruses encoding the SHC014 spike in a wild-type backbone can efficiently use multiple orthologs of the SARS receptor human angiotensin converting enzyme II (ACE2), replicate efficiently in primary human airway cells and achieve in vitro titers equivalent to epidemic strains of SARS-CoV.
They adapted the mice using human fetal tissue by the way.
The paper was written by researchers from the University of North Carolina and the Institute for Virology in Wuhan, China.
This is how Fauci`s deputy responded to the email:
The deputy states that the experiments were performed before gain of function research was `paused`. This happened in 2014. It was not meant to be a pause but a ban. Fauci turned the research back on again in 2017.
He then writes to Fauci that a woman named Emily is assessing whether they have any distant ties to this work abroad.
What?!
The paper he is referring to explicitly lists Fauci`s organisation as its source of funding! Of course they have ties to this work. They are its authors. Not only do these words suggest dodgy motive, but also real stupidity on the part of experts we were told to trust when they made us wear masks and lock ourselves up in our houses.
Remember that over this time, stating that the virus came from a lab was dismissed as racist madness. Twitter and Facebook banned people for stating the theory on their platforms. Meanwhile, the scientists had not ruled out the possibility at all and were worried about their own culpability. Fauci was even told via email that parts of the virus looked engineered:
I have already written about the former head of the US Center for Disease Control believing that the virus was engineered - to a complete lack of interest from the media.
But duplicity involving the origin of the virus is not the only scandalous thing revealed in the emails.
We read Fauci basically dismissing the basis of all the measures that were about to be foisted upon a world assured they were being guided by definitive scientific expertise.
Here is him telling a friend not to wear a mask:
He says now as an explanation `the science` changed so masks became necessary. Did the virus get bigger? What does he mean by this? Where was the proof masks help at all? US states that dropped mask mandates earliest were warned by Biden they were thinking like Neanderthals. But then their cases stayed lower than masked up states so Neanderthal Joe had to back off.
But Fauci makes the point in his statement that the science changed, that many of us lockdown sceptics have been saying all along. There was no indication that locking people down and masking them up was going to help at all. There was certainty it would cause economic and social meltdown. Logic dictates you do not take a certain negative for a possible positive. Science is not this settled monolithic knowledge possessed by the great clean elite. Life does not work that way.
Fauci also stated in the emails to colleagues and friends that aysmptomatic transmission was very unlikely and that post-infection immunity was likely to be significant.
If this is the case, and major studies have re-confirmed these well-established tenets of respiratory disease in the case of Covid over and over again, then the lockdowns and mask mandates have zero basis - as does all the pressure to vaccinate everybody. See here, here, here, and here.
This all means that your kids got to wear masks this past year because scientists liked being in control.
The emails also show that Fauci speaks to Bill Gates constantly. Was it a coincidence then that Gates was running coronavirus simulations in late 2019 for the World Economic Forum?
Fauci apparently has had his upcoming book pulled by Amazon and there is talk of Biden firing him.
Setting aside Fauci, there are deeper issues to be pondered here.
Gain of function, it turns out, does not only literally apply to the Wuhan virus.
Gain of function, the artificial ramping up of contagion, was most surreptitiously applied to our minds. Hysteria around mask wearing, spraying groceries with detergent, and locking people away inside, was not caused by Covid 19.
Submission to this madness was planted in our collective consciousness by social media, tech censorship, and modern lifestyles which assiduously avoid any reflection on the inevitability of death and decay.
