Roman Cabanac is an important figure in South Africa’s burgeoning independent media.
Most do not realize how thoroughly ignorant and overwhelmingly ideologically blinded the writers and editors of the likes of News24, Mail and Guardian, and the Daily Maverick are. (Who funds and owns these ventures, anyway?)
Saturating yourself in such media whilst addicted to your smartphone, as everybody is, narrows your world. It is also little known that SA media is basically entirely in lock-step with the mission of the ANC.
Roman and his Morning Shot provide analysis that is literate, human and not corporate, and historically-minded.
