A review of Cause Unknown: The Epidemic of Sudden Deaths in 2021 and 2022 by Edward Dowd.
In England, this past week the British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak declared in Parliament that the covid vaccines were unquestionably safe.
Nobody asked him the obvious follow-up question:
In the US, Steve Kirsch, the billionaire inventor of the optical mouse turned vaccine critic, has pointed out this week the overwhelmingly compelling case for the fact that the covid vaccines have induced dementia on a massive scale.
Note the VAERS data below, where medical professionals under pain of perjury have reported a shocking number of post-covid vaccination adverse cases of dementia :
This is a very personal subject to me.
A very close family member experienced a rapid decline into dementia after lockdowns and vaccination.
Dementia is one of the great scourges of modern life. One dies without dying. One slips away from oneself. One experiences deeply within the self what our whole society has experienced these past few years.
It is on that note that I would like to review a very important book that a reader and overseas acquaintance posted to me: Cause Unknown: The Epidemic of Sudden Deaths in 2021 and 2022, by Edward Dowd.
Dowd is a former BlackRock fund manager, who, after a very successful stint at the global investment giant, turned his analytical skills to the phenomenon of excess deaths and disability that bizarrely followed the end of a so-called pandemic.
A pandemic should pull deaths forward in time, thus, afterwards, death rates should decrease. Yet we saw the reverse after the ‘high covid’ years of 2020 and 2021.
As Dowd puts it:
From February 2021 to March 2022, millennials experienced the equivalent of a Vietnam war, with more than 60,000 excess deaths. The Vietnam war took 12 years to kill the same number of healthy young people we’ve just seen die in 12 months.
He recounts the shocking revelation from the CEO of OneAmerica insurance, Scott Davison in January 2022:
We are seeing right now, the highest death rates we have seen in the history of this business.
Davis went on to say that deaths in working age Americans during the second half of 2021 were 40% higher than before the pandemic.
Think of the films and great reckoning that followed the Vietnamese disaster. Yet something worse has occurred globally, and nobody is even talking about it. Nobody is being held responsible. Nobody is even remembering the dead. There will be no memorials.
An open wound endures; a sense of great unease lingers.
Dowd is trying to remedy that in this book. The book is filled with newspaper and website cuttings of the hundreds of reports of athletes collapsing mysteriously, healthy people dying in their sleep, and the strange deaths of swathes of medical professionals around the world. Each story has a QR code alongside it, allowing the reader to investigate further using the internet link.
He points out that young athletes in Ancient Greece were considered “the flower of the human race”, yet now they appear as a kind of sacrifice on the altar of technocratic control by sickly, grey government officials. It is a great biblical motif that in any age of demons, child sacrifice rises as the great sacrament of the culture…
The hard data Dowd uses to show this is exactly what has happened has a grotesqueness all of its own.
